Full steam ahead! - What's next for GRIMKITTY Productions moving into 2026

Hello everyone! Thought I'd take the time to talk about what's going on behind the scenes with every current active project from GRIMKITTY Productions. As we move through November and go into December, a lot is going on behind the scenes, trying to figure out what we're doing in the remainder of the year, and how we'll start off the next! I just decided I'd talk about all plans going forward through the remainder of the year, so you guys can see what to expect and what we're working on! I didn't want to wait on a GRIMKITTY Monthly for this, so we're jumping into everything today!
Nitron-Stylez coming to an end
If you did not hear after yesterday, after 5 long fun years, Nitron-Stylez is coming to an end. The recently released "Weirder Stuff" Parody Collection was re-released yesterday along with a new addition to the collection, but along with this, we announced that everything is now considered limited edition, and everything Nitron-Stylez related will be going away on January 1st, 2026. It has been a wonderful ride, but we can't really dedicate as much time to it as we used to, especially with our main shift moving more towards video games and other similar products. January 1st will bring the change of not only Nitron-Stylez being removed from the GRIMKITTY Productions store, but the changing of our URL as well! The Nitron-Stylez URL has been the main URL since the beginning, but it will finally be changed to have an official GRIMKITTY Store URL instead.
The plan is to maybe bring the characters back someday to have a different purpose, but until then, Nitron-Stylez will be saying goodbye at the end of the year.
Flip Out Rush's plans for the remainder of the year
We recently released Flip Out Rush Update 1.8, packed with a ton of exciting features! Not only that, but we also released a demo for Flip Out Rush on PC! With a PC release, there has been a ton of talk with a way to save and transfer progress between devices, and I think we're ready to finally do it!
First thing on our to-do list at the moment, is to finally get the long awaited "GRIMKITTY Meow Account" systems running and implemented into Flip Out Rush! I have been waiting to do this for the longest while, and it was always planned to have some way to transfer and keep your saves, and now I believe it's time to make it happen! My plan is to get it done this month, and it will be released in a patch update. I'm currently still debating on if I want to make the patch for the demo. More than likely I will, but it might take a bit longer to do so, since the demo is a different file, but we will see! But if everything goes well, expect a patch later this month! If we release this this month, expect something else to come along with it...
This patch update is planned to be the final thing from Flip Out Rush this year in terms of updates. However, I plan to release a ton of codes throughout the year with some exciting unlockables! So stay tuned and keep an eye on our socials for them!
GACHABOX: Pocket's development!
We recently put out a trailer showcasing off the game and we've had a ton of positive reception over it! I want this game to be the best it can be, so I have come to the decision to move development a bit back to work on it more. The game was meant to have an early public playtest in December, but I decided that the game needs a bit more time in the oven, so I moved the playtest into 2026. The game itself isn't really delayed since it was always planned to release in 2026, but the playtest has been delayed so the game can be a little more polished and can look and play as good as it can! Stay tuned for more development information regarding the game!
Now why exactly did this delay happen? Well, let's get into the reason...
Full Steam Ahead for Geometry Dash: Nexitron
That's right, after we clear out our "To-Do List" for everything we have planned so far, our development for Geometry Dash Nexitron: Chapter Two will be moving forward! This will mean that Nexitron Chapter Two will be our main priority, and will be the main thing we'll be pushing for development up until launch!
What's the plan?
I've already worked out a development roadmap on what I want to do, so here is the plan for the full development:
Coding the entirety of Chapter Two, story gameplay and all, using placeholders.
Create the artwork.
Work on all the levels.
Playtest Levels.
Review and Playtest Chapter 2, with art and gameplay.
Launch Chapter Two.
IF all goes as planned, then expect Chapter Two in Late Spring or early summer! Just depending on how things go, and I'm hoping they go well!
Also...
And, if everything goes to plan, and nothing comes in the way of development, then expect a small trailer in December to end off the year! One thing I wanted to do for the end of the year was release a trailer showcasing a story level, and I'm really hoping I can get enough of a level done to even do so, so let's hope things go well! I'd really love to show something off for you guys to have something to get excited for! Nexitron fans, stay tuned for a new devlog discussing more, releasing on both game pages in December!
