Flip Out Rush - Update 1.5 Changelog & Patch Notes

Hey everyone! Flip Out Rush Update 1.5 has officially launched on Google Play! This update has a ton of exciting new features, and new things to prepare for the near future! Adding some new festive themed items, new achievement system, and more!

We also would like to announce that Flip Out Rush will be coming to Google Play Games on PC on February 10th! We were contacted by google and were given the notice weeks ago about it's arrival to PC, and this update is in preparation for it! We can't wait for you all to enjoy the classic edition on PC!

Before we get into the changelog, I wanted to address something about one of the features that was mentioned in the promotion of this update. The Screen Resolution unlock. Unfortunately, due to many issues regarding sizing and the way things fit on screen while testing, we could not get the game to work properly with an unlocked screen size. We also found that for some reason, the screen unlocking made the game lag quite a lot on mobile. We have decided to completely remove this change so the game doesn't completely break on our players. We hope you all understand this decision, and sorry about the feature being cut! This feature might remain with the PC build, however, we do plan on finding an alternative that might work better, possibly a setting that allows you to change to certain screen resolutions. More on that in the future. Other than that, let's proceed with the Changelog!

• [New] Flip Out Rush: LITE is out now and available for Windows on PC! Enjoy the demo and experience the game for the first time on PC!

• [New] The Shop has been updated with new items!

  • Older event items from the "Snow Day" Event are now available to buy in the shop!

• [New] The Achievement system has been reworked! The achievement menu is now a Sticker Book! Earn achievements to unlock exciting new stickers! Only some stickers have been given to achievements. More will be added in future patches and updates!

  • Instead of scrapping the background from the original Achievement Menu, we've made it a background you can play with! "Champion Blue" is available in the shop!

• [New] Added 1 Ground to unlock.

• [New] Tier 4 Vaults have been added. There are now 10 new vaults to unlock.

• [New] Added new codes to "The Alley" to unlock new items! Can you find the codes?

Patch Notes & Bug Fixes

• [Change] Credits have been updated to properly credit the current version.

• [Change] Added Scroll Wheel functionality to certain menu's, such as Credits, Events, and The Changelog.

• [Change] Added certain keyboard controls. These were added to make the game compatible to Google Play Games on PC. This will be released later in the month!

• [Change] Gameplay code has been completely reworked to allow for better implementation of Characters!

• [Change] The Character: "Coin" has been given the same death sound as The Character: "Robber"

• [Change] The "Share" Button seen in the death screen of Classic Mode has been changed to share to Bluesky instead of Twitter. We are trying to slowly move away from Twitter as a company and move to other platforms. If we can, we plan to improve the button to include other social media sites in a future update.

• [Bugfix] Pause Menu music now loops. This must have been an oversight that we seemed to miss.
